THE PALM SPRINGS MODERN
This single-story home channels the spirit of Palm Springs desert modernism, reimagined for Austin. A low, floating roofline and bands of clerestory glass pull daylight across warm wood ceilings, while floor-to-ceiling walls of glass dissolve the line between the living spaces and the pool courtyard beyond. Austin limestone grounds the exterior, and a custom vertical-grain Douglas fir pivot door sets a warm, tactile tone from the entry. Inside, walnut cabinetry, hand-glazed tile, and clean stone surfaces carry the mid-century palette through the kitchen, baths, and living areas. Sheltered by mature oaks, it is a calm indoor-outdoor retreat that reflects our approach to custom home building across Austin.
